Erin Hogan grew up in Houston as an avid Oilers and Astros fan, and at the young age of 12, he had already decided to become a sports host.
Luckily for us at 1530 ESPN, Erin stuck with his goals and he ended up moving to Austin in 1991 to attend St Edwards University for a degree in Media Communications. From there, he went on to work for 1490 AM where he served as a board op, producer, wrote promos, and had time to do sports updates on air as well. Eventually, these updates led to a job at AM 1300 The Zone in 1999, where he soon began a successful run as a co-host with Bucky Godbolt on "Buck On Sports". After leaving The Zone, Erin has since partnered up with OrangeBloods.com, and together they'll be bringing you a new local morning show called "The Morning Rush", from 6a to 9a Monday through Friday. With his raw insightful commentary, Erin show which features local Longhorn coverage as well as a local perspective on national sports, elevating the morning commute and 1530 to the sports authority in Austin.!
