Time to get into the Top 15, where all these teams have issues, but there is potential to be great with each of these teams
15. Arizona State Sun Devils- Dennis Erickson is a pretty good coach, but the success of this team hinges on their offensive line. In the Holiday Bowl, Texas absolutely destroyed this offensive line and they must replace a couple starters from that team. Rudy Carpenter is the quarterback and Keegan Herring returns at running back. Defense will be solid, but their test comes in a brutal stretch when they play Georgia, at Cal, and at USC, with a bye week mixed in. If they come out of those games still standing they have a good shot in the Pac 10.
14. Virginia Tech- I trust in Frank Beamer and Beamer-Ball. This team always has a solid defense, excellent special teams and in the weak ACC they manufacture wins with their consistency. Only 10 starters returning, but they always seem to find a running back to gain 1200 yards and they rely on defense and special teams.
13. Texas Tech- Is this the year they play with the big boys and stop people with their defense. Nobody doubts the offense with Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree and the nations biggest offensive line, but what is the defense going to show you. Can they stop people consistently, get short yardage first downs and finish people off in the fourth quarter. Expectations are high in Lubbock, how they stop people on defense and deal with those expectations will determine if Texas Tech is ready to join the ranks of the top teams nationally.
12. Texas Longhorns- Tons of questions need to be answered for this team, including depth on defense and who will start in the back end. Colt McCoy should have a big year. The offensive line which was a weakness last year turns into a strength with youth and experience. Offensively they should be fine. They need their front seven to control the run and get an effective pass rush to help out the young secondary. If they have to bring another safety into the box to stop the run, it will put more pressure on the secondary. Need to stay healthy but this team should be pretty good.
11. Wisconsin Badgers- With 17 starters returning, this should be Brett Bielema's best team. They are always physical on the offensive and defensive line's and they return top rusher PJ Hill. He must stay healthy for them to be successful. They get Ohio State and Penn State at home this year. Camp Randall is a difficult place to play and this team will challenge Ohio State for Big Ten supremacy.
Keep tuning in for the Top 10 tomorrow. There are a couple Big 12 teams who are in there, but where will they shake out.

Come on Rosey....Wisconsin
Come on Rosey....Wisconsin at #11. I guess that is based on the fact that the Big10(11) is sooooo weak, they should just give them 7 wins and call that a conference schedule....but do you really think they would beat any of the teams you have listed 12-15?? or even 16-20?? Probably not. So if your list is based on what their expected records will be at the end of the season...then okay, but don't tell me you honestly believe they are the 11th best team in the NCAA...what's next, Notre Dame is in the top 5???
