General Contest Rules
KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM GENERIC CONTEST RULES
 
1.               How to Enter the Contest:
 
a.                To participate in KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM contests, listeners must be the correct called on the station’s contest line (512) 458-8255 unless otherwise announced and meet all eligibility requirements. Listeners may also register via the station's website when applicable at www.espnaustin.com.
 
b.               Eligible contestants may win once every thirty days unless otherwise specified.
2.               Eligibility Restrictions:
 
a.                All contests on KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM are open to all KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM listeners who are 12 years of age or older unless otherwise specified.  Employees of Border Media, affiliated entities, its affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Contest winners must be residents of the Austin, Texas TSA (total service area as defined by Arbitron Inc) and provide proof of residence (Valid Photo ID) to claim any prize.
 
b.                Listeners are eligible to win a KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM contest only once every thirty days.  Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
 
c.                Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.
 
 
3.               Prizes:
 
 
a.                 All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM, 912 South Capital of Texas Highway, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78746. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty days.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
 
b.                Contest prizes are not transferable.  Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
 
4.               Selection of Winner:
a.                Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
 
5.               Conditions:
 
a.                Payment of federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Winner may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent.
 
b.               By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
 
c.                Contest winner will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater or which prize  includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided byKTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to holdKTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM, its corporate licensee, parent corporation Border Media, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, director, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.
 
6.                                   KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement.
 
7.                                   No purchase is necessary.  The contest is void where prohibited.
 
8.                                   Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.
 
9.                                   Copies of written consent rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KTXX-FM/KWNX-AM/KZNX-AM, 912 South Capital of Texas Highway, Suite 400, Austin, Texas 78746.
