
Sean Adams is a former NCAA All-American athlete who turned his love for sports into a life in sports.
His first book, Sports for Life: Daily Sports Themes for Life Success, was published in 2006. His second book, based solely on attitude and named, It’s Okay to Be Crazy, is due to hit bookstores in fall 2008.
Adams has been a sportswriter for the last nine years, covering Atlantic Coast Conference football and Baylor University sports. For the last five years, he has covered the Texas Longhorns and college football for Orangebloods.com. He has editorial and football specific articles published for readership around the country and has been a guest on the NFL network’s College Football Now.
Adams is the former co-host of The Drive (the afternoon show from 4 – 7) with Sean Adams, Chip Brown and David Anderson on 1530 ESPN Austin.
He is now the co-host of the The Bottom Line with Sean Adams and Chip Brown on 1530 ESPN - Austin from 2 - 4 p.m.
He is also the co-host of the 1530 ESPN Austin College Gameday. The show airs live from Scholz Garten, the hub of Longhorn Tailgating, three hours before the Texas Longhorns kick off every Saturday.
He travels around the country to speak to athletes, parents, sales teams, and corporations and has become an authority in understanding and stimulating potential in athletics and life. Adams encourages individuals of all ages to, “find themselves and be who they potentially are,” using sports, humor and life’s little issues as the medium for that communication.
He has an extensive education with a business undergraduate degree, an MBA and post graduate studies in Public Relations and the Humanities.
